Installation [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the battery ECU assembly to the HV battery with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Check color of the label.

        *a Black Label
      • If the battery ECU assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
    2. Connect the 3 battery ECU assembly connectors and move the lock lever to lock them.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    3. Engage the clamp.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY HOSE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 HV battery hose to the HV battery.
    2. Engage the 2 clips.
  3. INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the upper HV battery cover sub-assembly to the HV battery with the 5 bolts and 7 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  4. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    See step  7

  5. INSTALL NO. 4 HV BATTERY PROTECTOR 

    See step  8

  6. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    See step  7

  7. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY COVER PANEL RH 

    See step  14

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  10. INSTALL REAR UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  11. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  12. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  13. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2018 - ]

  16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2018 - ]

  17. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2022 - ]
