Removal [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
