Installation [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH
- When reusing the rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH:
- Install 2 new O-rings, a new plate and new No. 2 connector to the front pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH.
Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - ]
- Install 2 new O-rings, a new plate and new No. 2 connector to the front pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH.
- Temporarily tighten the washer and rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH with a new nut.
- Temporarily tighten the rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH with the 3 nuts.
HINT:
If the nut is hard to see, use a mirror.
- When reusing the rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH:
- CONNECT NO. 7 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE
- Connect the No. 7 height control tube to the rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH.

- Connect the No. 7 height control tube to the rear pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber assembly LH.
- CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

- AIR MOVEMENT (WHEN REPLACING A REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER)
HINT:
Move the air pressure according to the instructions on the Techstream.

- AIR MOVEMENT (WHEN REPLACING THE 2 REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS)

Move the air pressure according to the instructions on the Techstream.

- STABILIZE SUSPENSION

- TIGHTEN REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH
- Fully tighten the nut.
Torque: 110 N.m (1122 kgf/cm, 81 ft.lbf)
- Fully tighten the 2 nuts A.
Torque: 40 N.m (408 kgf/cm, 30 ft.lbf)
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length HINT:
If the nut is hard to see, use a mirror.
- Using SST, fully tighten the nut B.
- SST: 09249-37010
Specified tightening torque
Torque: 40 N.m (408 kgf/cm, 30 ft.lbf)
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 09/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [09/2019 - 10/2020]
- When using SST (fulcrum length of 100 mm (3.937 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.087 in.)): 25.7 N.m (262 kgf/cm, 19 ft.lbf)
- If the nut is hard to see, use a mirror.
- Fully tighten the nut.
- INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER CAP LH

- TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

- CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAKAGE
- Install the rear wheel RH.

- Check the connections of the tubes for air leakage.

- Remove the rear wheel RH.

- Install the rear wheel RH.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
