Installation [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 2 No. 1 height control valve bushes and No. 2 height control valve cushions to the No. 2 height control valve sub-assembly.

      *1 No. 1 Height Control Valve Bush
      *2 No. 2 Height Control Valve Cushion
    2. Install the No. 2 height control valve sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf)

    3. Attach the clamp.
    4. Connect the No. 6 height control tube.

      *1 No. 6 Height Control Tube
      *2 No. 7 Height Control Tube
      *3 No. 8 Height Control Tube
      *4 No. 9 Height Control Tube

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - ]

      NOTE:

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    5. Connect the No. 7 height control tube.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - ]

      NOTE:

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    6. Connect the No. 8 height control tube.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - ]

      NOTE:

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    7. Connect the No. 9 height control tube.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - ]

      NOTE:

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    8. Connect the connector.

  2. AIR MOVEMENT 

    HINT: 

    Move the air pressure according to the instructions on the Techstream.

    See step  1 [10/2017 - 10/2020], or see step  1 [10/2020 - ]

  3. CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAKAGE 
    1. Install the rear wheel RH.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

    2. Check the connections of the tubes for air leakage.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - ]

    3. Remove the rear wheel RH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER RH 
    1. Install the rear wheel house liner RH with the 4 screws, 2 clips, 11 nuts and grommet.

  5. INSTALL ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR RH 
    1. Install the rocker panel moulding protector RH with the 2 screws and clip.

  6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL RH 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

  7. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT 
    NOTE:

    If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.

    1. Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position again.
    2. Measure the vehicle height.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2023 - ]

  8. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2023 - ]

    NOTE:

    If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

  9. CHECK HEIGHT CHANGE OPERATION 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - ]
