Removal [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ]

    • After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary (w/ SDARS System).
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

      Screw
    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws and clips.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
