Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Disable the autoaway/return function by changing the customize parameter (Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [09/2015 - 08/2016] Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [08/2016 - 08/2017] Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [08/2017 - 08/2018] Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [08/2018 - ] .
   WARNING:

   Record the current customize parameter setting (whether the autoaway/return function is enabled or disabled) in order to restore the current setting after finishing the operation.

   HINT: 

   Performing the above operation causes the autoaway/return function to be disabled when the engine switch is turned off.

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Operate the tilt and telescopic switch to fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
3. Turn the engine switch off.

1. Put protective tape around the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

   Detach the 4 claws.

   Detach the 11 claws.

4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

1. Remove the 4 screws.
2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the combination meter assembly.
