Transmission Control Switch Circuit [10/2017 - 09/2020]: Procedure

- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH (TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the K80 transmission control switch (transmission floor shift assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the K80 transmission control switch (transmission floor shift assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the A106 ECM connector.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A106-17 (S) - Body ground Shift lever in M, "+" and "-" 11 to 14 V Shift lever not in M, "+" and "-" Below 1 V - Turn the engine switch off.
- Disconnect the spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
