DTC P0795-13: Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Circuit Open [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL3) - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the F102 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F102-31 (SL3+) - F102-1 (SL3-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
      F102-31 (SL3+) or F102-1 (SL3-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  2. REPLACE ECM 
    1. Replace the ECM.

      Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2017 - ]

      Result

    PERFORM A/T CODE REGISTRATION. Refer to  REGISTRATION [10/2017 - ] 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the F73 transmission wire connector.
    2. Disconnect the F102 ECM connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F73-25 (SL3+) - F102-31 (SL3+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F73-26 (SL3-) - F102-1 (SL3-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F73-25 (SL3+) or F102-31 (SL3+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F73-26 (SL3-) or F102-1 (SL3-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL3 
    1. Remove the shift solenoid valve SL3.

      *1 Shift Solenoid Valve SL3

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [04/2013 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Terminal 1 of the shift solenoid valve SL3 - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
    3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the shift solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      OK

      Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE. Refer to  COMPONENTS [04/2013 - ]

    REPLACE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL3. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ]
