DTC P2807-13: Pressure Control Solenoid "G" Circuit Open [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND TRANSMISSION WIRE (TRANSMISSION WIRE (SOLENOID (SL4) VALVE) - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the F78 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F78-13 (SL4+) - F78-12 (SL4-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
      F78-13 (SL4+) or F78-12 (SL4-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  2. REPLACE ECM 
    1. Replace the ECM.

      Refer to COMPONENTS [08/2015 - ]

    PERFORM A/T CODE REGISTRATION. Refer to  REGISTRATION [08/2015 - ] 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the F73 transmission wire connector.
    2. Disconnect the F78 ECM connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F73-26 (SL4+) - F78-13 (SL4+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F73-27 (SL4-) - F78-12 (SL4-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F73-26 (SL4+) or F78-13 (SL4+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F73-27 (SL4-) or F78-12 (SL4-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM)

  4. INSPECT SOLENOID (SL4) VALVE 
    1. Remove the solenoid (SL4) valve.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [08/2015 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Terminal 1 of the solenoid (SL4) valve - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
    3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      OK

      Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

    REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE. Refer to  COMPONENTS [08/2015 - ]

    REPLACE SOLENOID (SL4) VALVE. Refer to  COMPONENTS [08/2015 - 10/2016]  , or refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ]
