DTC P2716: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Electrical (Shift Solenoid Valve SLT) [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT) - TCM)
- Disconnect the F156 TCM connector.
*a Rear view of wire harness connector
(to TCM) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F156-1 (SLT+) - F156-7 (SLT-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω F156-1 (SLT+) or F156-7 (SLT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- Disconnect the F156 TCM connector.
- REPLACE TCM
- Replace the TCM.

PERFORM A/T CODE REGISTRATION. Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]
- Replace the TCM.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM)
- Disconnect the F175 transmission wire connector.
- Disconnect the F156 TCM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Remove the shift solenoid valve SLT.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Terminal 1 of the shift solenoid valve SLT - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω - Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.
