Disassembly [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 
    1. Disengage the 6 clamps to remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PAD 
    1. Remove the No. 1 rear bumper pad.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER PAD 
    1. for Type A:
      1. Remove the 2 No. 2 rear bumper pads.

        HINT: 

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. for Type B:
      1. Remove the No. 2 rear bumper pad.

        HINT:

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE 
    1. Remove the No. 1 moulding tape.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper arm LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  12. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY (except 2UR-GSE) 
    1. Remove the 14 clips (A).

    2. Remove the 6 clips (B).
    3. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear bumper center extension sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2UR-GSE) 
    1. Remove the 14 clips (A).

      *a Clip (A) *b Clip (B)
    2. Remove the 6 clips (B).
    3. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear bumper center extension sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE (except 2UR-GSE) 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws.

      *a Hook
    2. Disengage the hook to remove the rear bumper piece.
  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (for 2UR-GSE) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

      *a Hook
    2. Disengage the hook to remove the rear bumper hole cover LH.
  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (for 2UR-GSE) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  19. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the No. 2 rear bumper side support LH.

  23. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide and claw to remove the No. 1 rear bumper side support LH.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  27. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 bolts to rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
