Removal [08/2015 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] ).

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ASSIST GRIP PLUG LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2016 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2019 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ASSIST GRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2016 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2019 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2016 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2019 - ]

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the front No. 2 speaker and disconnect the speaker connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the cone of the speaker.

  8. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the front No. 4 speaker and disconnect the speaker connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the cone of the speaker.
