Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.

      *1 No. 3 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 15 Water By-pass Hose
    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 15 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly from the timing chain cover assembly.

    5. Remove the gasket from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
