Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [08/2015 - 09/2020], or see step  1 [09/2020 - 11/2021], or see step  1 [11/2021 - 09/2022], or see step  1 [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

  3. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 5 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the 2 No. 5 engine wire connectors.

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the stiffening crankcase assembly.
  6. REMOVE NO. 5 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the No. 5 engine wire from the oil cooler assembly.
