Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE PCV VALVE (VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

    2. Using a 22 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
