Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - ]
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
- Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal surface of the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (connecting surface with the cylinder head cover sub-assembly).
- If the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
*1 O-Ring
- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
