Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, temporarily install the generator assembly with the 2 stud bolts.
- Tighten the 2 stud bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- Install the generator assembly and engine wire bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 43 N.m (438 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf)
- Connect the oil cooler tube with the bolt.
Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf)
- Connect the generator assembly connector.
- Connect the engine wire to terminal B with the nut.
Torque: 12 N.m (122 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf)
- Close the terminal cap.
- Connect the engine wire with the bolt.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
- Engage the clamp.
- CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

- INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]
- ADD ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

- INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
