Removal [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1[04/2013 - 08/2015], or see step  1[08/2015 - 10/2017]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2015 - 10/2016]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2015 - 10/2016]

  4. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

      *A For 2WD
      *B For AWD
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and engine oil level sensor.
    3. Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Cutting Position
      *2 Supply Part
    4. Remove the gasket from the engine oil level sensor.

      HINT: 

      After cutting away the parts of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
