Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Do not damage the installation surface when installing the front differential carrier assembly.
    • The remaining oil may leak out when installing the front differential carrier assembly.
    • Securely support the front differential carrier assembly while performing this step to avoid excessively tilting or dropping the front differential carrier assembly.
    • Install the bolts with the front differential carrier assembly secured.
    1. Support the front differential carrier assembly with a jack.

      WARNING:

      The front differential carrier assembly is a heavy component. Make sure that it is supported securely.

    2. Temporarily install the front differential carrier assembly to the engine assembly with the 3 bolts.
    3. Tighten the 3 bolts to install the front differential carrier assembly.

      Torque: 87.3 N.m (890 kgf/cm, 64 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2020 - ]
