Installation [09/2012 - ]

HINT: 

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. Refer to SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS [09/2012 - ] .

  1. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY 
    1. Attach the 5 claws to install the 5 No. 3 instrument panel stays.
  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
    2. Install the 2 bolts <E>.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the 8 bolts <A> and nut <F>.

      *1 Bolt <A> *2 Bolt <E>
      *3 Nut <F> - -
    4. Attach the 2 claws to connect the cooler thermistor.
    5. Connect each connector and each wire harness clamp.
  3. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 1
  4. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (w/ Telematics Transceiver)  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 3
  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 4
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER HOLE COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 5
  7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 1
  8. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 2
  10. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel.

  11. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 33
  12. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 34
  13. INSTALL ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 2
  14. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the 10 clips to install the instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.
  15. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect each connector and each wire harness clamp.
    2. Install the glove compartment door with the 5 screws <C>.
  16. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 1
  17. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 2
  18. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Insert the 2 guides.

    3. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
  19. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Attach the 12 clips to install the instrument cluster finish panel garnish assembly.

  20. INSTALL MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 3
  21. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel RH.
  22. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ]

    2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ]

  23. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect the connector and attach the 2 claws to close the connector cover.
    2. Install the combination meter assembly with the 4 screws.
  24. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect the 2 connectors.
    2. Attach the 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.
    3. Install the 2 clips.
  25. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] .
  26. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 1
  27. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect each connector and each wire harness clamp.
    2. Attach the 2 claws to connect the DLC3.
    3. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
    4. Install the 2 screws.
  28. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Attach the 5 clips and claw to install the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
    3. Install the screw <C> and bolt.

    4. Attach the claw to install the switch base hole cover to the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
  29. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel ornament.

  30. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel LH.
  31. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2012 - ] .

  32. ENABLE AUTOAWAY/RETURN FUNCTION 
    1. Restore the autoaway/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [09/2012 - ] .
  33. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2012 - ] - Step 15
  34. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2012 - ]
