REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman): Disassembly: Disassembly

WARNING:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion spring.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and shoulder belt guide.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 pins and headrest.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts.
    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest adjuster.
  7. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and position control ECU.
  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and seat climate control ECU.
  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP LH 
    1. Detach the 5 claws and remove the cover cap.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK BASE LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and lock base.

  11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH

    1. Remove the nut and detach the seatback cover bracket.
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Detach the hooks and remove the hog rings and seatback cover with pad from the seatback spring.
  12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.
  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH

    1. Remove the felt pad.
    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the wire harness clamps.
    3. Remove the 3 nuts.
    4. Remove the 2 screws and seatback climate blower.
  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT WIRE LH

    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Detach the wire harness clamps and remove the seat wire.
  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT INNER ANCHOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the nut and anchor bracket.

  17. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH 
    1. Remove the cushion pad.

    2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Detach the 2 claws and remove the climate control controller.
  18. REMOVE AIR FILTER LH

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air filter.
  19. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and climate control blower.

  20. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
    2. Detach the hooks.
    3. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion spring.
  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 2 CUSHION PAD 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and cushion pad.

  22. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 1 CUSHION PAD 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and cushion pad.

    1. Remove the hog rings and detach the 2 pieces of fastening tape.
    2. Detach the claws and remove the seat cushion cover.
  24. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  25. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  27. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU RH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and position control ECU.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  29. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  30. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  31. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK BASE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  32. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  33. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH

    1. Remove the nut and detach the seatback cover bracket.
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Detach the hooks and remove the hog rings and seatback cover with pad from the seatback spring.
  34. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.
  35. REMOVE REAR SEAT WIRE RH

    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Detach the wire harness clamps and remove the seat wire.
  36. REMOVE SUB SEATBACK PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the 2 air hoses.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the upper part of the seatback plate.
    3. Detach the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the air hose.

    4. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the lower part of the seatback plate.
  37. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  38. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  39. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT INNER ANCHOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the nut and anchor bracket.

  40. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER RH

  41. REMOVE AIR FILTER RH

  42. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER RH

  43. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat)

    1. Remove the hog rings.
    2. Detach the fastening tape and remove the center seat cushion cover.
  44. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION PAD (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Remove the center seat cushion pad from the center seat cushion frame.
  45. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and center seat headrest.

  46. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST HOLE COVER (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.

  47. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and center seatback frame from the center armrest.
  48. REMOVE TELEVISION VOLUME AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Remove the television volume and switch.
  49. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Detach the 17 claws and remove the No. 2 seat center armrest panel with No. 1 seat center armrest panel.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 center seat armrest panel.

  50. REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and rear power seat module switch.

  51. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and cup holder.

  52. REMOVE SEAT VIBRATOR SWITCH (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Detach the wire harness clamps and disconnect the connectors.

    2. Remove the 4 screws.
    3. Remove the 8 screws and center armrest box with center armrest door.

    4. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the wire harness clamp.

    5. Detach the 2 claws and remove the plate.

    6. Pull up the wire harness and remove the switch.

    1. Remove the 2 screws and curtain switch.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 switch wire.
  56. REMOVE SWITCH WIRE (w/ Center Seat) 
    1. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and remove the switch wire.
