Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • w/ Navigation System (for HDD):

      After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal

      Condition Waiting Time
      Vehicle enrolled in safety connect system 6 minutes
      Vehicle not enrolled in safety connect system 1 minute
    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  6. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  7. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  8. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
  9. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE BOX POCKET 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Detach the 8 claws and remove the lower console box pocket.

  10. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the adapter.

  11. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE BOX POCKET (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Detach the 8 claws and remove the lower console box pocket.

  12. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman) 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the adapter.

  13. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST HOLE COVER (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 43
  16. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 44
  17. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to DISASSEMBLY - Step 45
  18. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman) 
    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the headphone terminal.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both headphone terminals.

  19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  20. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps and 6 claws.
    3. Remove the headphone terminal.

    4. Remove the headphone terminal.
