1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

4. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output in the first step, try to force output of the lane departure alert system DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
