DTC P1508-208: PTC A/C Auxiliary Heater Disabled High: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the No. 2 battery pack wire connector. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Turn the power switch on (IG).NOTE:
Turning the power switch on (IG) with the No. 2 battery pack wire connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition nS1-15 (DCIM) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) Below 1 V
NG → See step 4
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER CONNECTOR) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Turn the power switch off.
- Remove the service plug grip. Refer to PRECAUTION
.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY) unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Check the connection of the low voltage connector of the hybrid vehicle converter.

The connector is connected securely and there are no contact problems.
HINT:
For the removal and installation procedures related to inspection of the connection of the low voltage connector of the hybrid vehicle converter. Refer to COMPONENTS .
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR - HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
- Disconnect the low voltage connector from the hybrid vehicle converter.
HINT:
For the removal and installation procedures related to the low voltage connector of the hybrid vehicle converter. Refer to COMPONENTS .
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.Fig 5: Identifying NS1 No. 2 Battery Pack Wire Connector And Z82 Hybrid Vehicle Converter Connectors

Standard resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - NO. 2 BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect connector A74 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTE:Turning the power switch on (IG) with the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
