DTC P2603-768: Oil Pump Control Circuit High: Procedure
- CHECK FUSE (OIL PMP) See step 2
NG → REPLACE FUSE (OIL PMP)
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT RELAY (OIL PMP) See step 3
NG → REPLACE RELAY (OIL PMP)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP RELAY - OIL PUMP)
- Disconnect connector A58 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Disconnect connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Remove the OIL PMP relay from the engine room junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A15-4 (L) - OIL PMP relay terminal 5 Power switch off Below 1 Ω Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A15-4 (L) or OIL PMP relay terminal 5 - Body ground and other terminals Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher - Install the OIL PMP relay.
- Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP)
- Disconnect connector A58 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Disconnect connector from the oil pump with motor assembly.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A58-26 (OPST) - A15-2 (OPST) Power switch off Below 1 Ω - Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Replace the oil pump with motor assembly. Refer toCOMPONENTS .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CLEAR DTC. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (READY).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to DTC P2603-768 is not output. A DTC P2603-768 is output again. B - Turn the power switch off.
