DTC P2519-766: A/C Request "A" Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to DTC P2519-766 is not output. A Any of the following DTCs are also output. B DTC No. Relevant Diagnosis P0AE6-225 Hybrid Battery Precharge Contactor Control Circuit Low

- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER CONNECTOR). Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (BATTERY SMART UNIT CONNECTOR) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Check the connection of the battery smart unit connectors.

The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact problems.
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
- CHECK BATTERY SMART UNIT WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Connect an oscilloscope between the battery smart unit terminals specified in the table below, and measure the waveform.

- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
- Disconnect connector z15 from the battery smart unit connector.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Specified Condition z15-4 (IDH) - Body ground Below 1 V NOTE:Turning the power switch on (IG) with the hybrid vehicle converter (DC/DC converter) connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
- Turn the power switch off.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER. Refer to COMPONENTS
- GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
