Inspection Procedure
- CHECK LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH)
- When the luggage compartment door opener main switch is ON (Pushed), push the luggage compartment door opener inner switch and check that the luggage compartment door opens
OK: Luggage compartment door opener system operates normally.
- When the luggage compartment door opener main switch is OFF (Free), push the luggage compartment door opener inner switch and check that the luggage compartment door does not open
OK: Luggage compartment door opener system does not operate.

OK: END
- When the luggage compartment door opener main switch is ON (Pushed), push the luggage compartment door opener inner switch and check that the luggage compartment door opens
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3
- Turn the engine switch on (IG)
- Turn the Techstream on
- Enter the following menus. Body Electrical / Body / Active Test
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3
- Turn the engine switch on (IG)
- Turn the Techstream on
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Body / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

A: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)
- INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK
- Remove the luggage compartment door lock (See REMOVAL ).
- Move the door lock to the close (lock) position.
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK - MAIN BODY ECU RH)
- Disconnect the J74 ECU connector
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)
- INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER INNER SWITCH
- Remove the luggage compartment door opener inner switch (See REMOVAL )
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard Resistance
RESISTANCE REFERENCETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 5 - 6 Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω 5 - 6 Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER INNER SW - MAIN BODY ECU RH)
- Disconnect the J75 ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH
- Remove the luggage compartment door opener main switch (See REMOVAL )
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

- Disconnect the J75 ECU connectors
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
