Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC S
- Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
- Recheck for DTC.
- Proceed to the next step based on the inspection result.

A: Go to next Step
- INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG RH)
- Remove the ECU-IG RH fuse from the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH)
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next Step
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".

- Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER)
- Disconnect the J54 integration control and panel assembly connector
- Disconnect the J35 combination meter connector
- Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value (s) in the table below
Standard Resistance

OK: Go to next Step
- CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY
- Remove the integration control and panel assembly with the connector still connected (See REMOVAL ).
- Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light

NG: REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER (See REMOVAL )
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER)
- Disconnect the J53 clock assembly connector.
- Disconnect the J35 combination meter connector.
- Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- CHECK CLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the clock assembly with the connector still connected (See REMOVAL ).
- Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light

- REPLACE GATEWAY ECU
- Replace the gateway ECU (See NETWORK GATEWAY ECU )
- CHECK PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT
- Check that the passenger seat belt warning light operates normally (see ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
)
OK: The front passenger seat belt warning light normally operates.
NG: REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: END
