Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See PRECAUTION ).

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER LH (for LH Side) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) (See REMOVAL )
SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) (See REMOVAL )
SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

  Tape the screwdriver tip before use

3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and the front seat outer belt assembly
