Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly: Removal

PRECAUTION
CAUTION: Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (See PRECAUTION ).
REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Refer to the procedure up to Remove Roof Headlining Assembly (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Check that the engine switch is off.
2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal
  CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
3. Disconnect the curtain shield airbag connector.
  NOTE: When disconnecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
4. Remove the 9 bolts and 2 clamps

  NOTE: Do not reuse the bolt.
5. Disengage the 7 hooks and remove the curtain shield airbag assembly.
