Water Pump: Removal

REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT (See REMOVAL )
DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
1. Disconnect the No 2 radiator hose from the water inlet housing

DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
1. Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.

DISCONNECT WATER INLET HOSE
1. Disconnect the water inlet hose from the water inlet housing.

DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
1. Disconnect the No 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing

REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING
1. Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet housing and gasket.

REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY
1. Using a screwdriver or an equivalent, hold the water pump pulley.
  HINT.
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use to avoid damage.
2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

REMOVE WATER PUMP
1. Remove the 9 bolts, water pump and gasket.
