Drive Belt: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See REMOVAL )
  3. SEPARATE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the radiator reserve tank assembly

  4. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 
    1. Rotate the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the V-ribbed belt tensioner.

      HINT:

      The pulley bolt for the V-ribbed belt tensioner is reverse threaded

    2. While turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner counterclockwise, align the holes. Insert a bar of 5 mm (0 197 in.) into the holes to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner in place.
    3. Remove the V-ribbed belt
