Rear Bumper: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Disengage the 4 connectors.
    2. Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper piece LH

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  6. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Remove the bolt and screw, and No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT.

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper extension LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper protector LH.
  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper protector RH
  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER RETAINER LH 
    1. Remove the screw and rear bumper lower retainer LH.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER RETAINER RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and 4 ribs and 3 guides, and remove the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly

  22. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws, clip and No. 1 rear bumper side support LH

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  24. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 rear bumper side support LH

  25. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  26. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and upper rear bumper retainer LH.
