AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for Rear Side): Installation

  1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the cooling unit with the 4 bolts.
    2. Connect the clamp and 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the duct.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the duct.
  4. INSTALL NO. 4 AIR DUCT REAR 
    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the duct.

  5. INSTALL NO. 5 AIR DUCT REAR 
    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the duct.

  6. INSTALL ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT LH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the duct.
    2. Install the clip.

  7. INSTALL ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the duct.
    2. Install the clip.

  15. INSTALL ROPE HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
  16. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  18. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) 
    1. Attach the 2 clips to install the cover.
  19. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/ Rear Sunshade:

      Install the package tray trim panel (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. w/o Rear Sunshade:

      Install the package tray trim panel (see INSTALLATION ).

  20. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the roof side garnish inner (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the roof side garnish inner (see INSTALLATION ).

  21. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the roof side garnish inner (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the roof side garnish inner (see INSTALLATION ).

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the rear seat side garnish (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the rear seat side garnish (see INSTALLATION ).

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the rear seat side garnish (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the rear seat side garnish (see INSTALLATION ).

  24. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the rear door scuff plate (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the rear door scuff plate (see INSTALLATION ).

  25. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. for Short Body:

      Install the rear door scuff plate (see INSTALLATION ).

    2. for Long Body:

      Install the rear door scuff plate (see INSTALLATION ).

  26. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) 
    1. Install the rear seat assembly (see INSTALLATION ).
  27. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman) 
    1. Install the rear seat assembly (see INSTALLATION ).
  28. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Type) 
    1. Install the rear seat assembly (see INSTALLATION ).
  29. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the tube.

      Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent 

    2. Install the 2 O-rings on the tube.
    3. Install the 2 tubes with the 2 bolts

      Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

  30. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  31. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  32. ADD COMPRESSOR OIL (See  REPLACEMENT   ) 
  33. CHARGE REFRIGERANT 
  34. WARM UP ENGINE 
  35. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT (See  REPLACEMENT   ) 
  36. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
  37. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
