Heated Oxygen Sensor: Installation

INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2 4WD)
1. Using SST, install the sensor to the front exhaust pipe.
2. Pass the sensor connector through the floor panel and install the grommet.
  SST 09224-00010
  
  Torque: without SST
  
  44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

  with SST
  
  40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)
  
  HINT:
  - Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.).
  - Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.
3. Connect the sensor connector.
INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for 4WD)
1. Install the cover with the 2 clips and 4 nuts.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for 4WD)
1. Install the front seat LH (see INSTALLATION ).
INSTALL CONSOLE BOX (for 4WD) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2 2WD)

3. Connect the sensor connector.

INSTALL CONSOLE BOX PLATE (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER GARNISH (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
