Engine Rear Oil Seal: Removal

REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)
1. Remove the automatic transaxle assembly (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION W/ TRANSFER (for 4WD)
1. Remove the automatic transmission w/ transfer (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE DRIVE PLATE & RING GEAR SUBASSEMBLY
1. Using SST, hold the crankshaft.
  SST 09213-54015 (91651-60855), 09330-00021
2. Remove the 8 bolts, the rear spacer, the drive plate and the front spacer.

REMOVE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL
1. Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip.
2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped in tape, pry out the oil seal.
NOTE: After the removal, check that the crankshaft is not damaged. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
