Shift Paddle Switch: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD 
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.

    (See PRECAUTION )

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See step 4 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See step 3 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD (See step 5 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See step 11 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  7. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the clamp from the steering wheel assembly.
    2. Disconnect the switch wire connector from the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the 2 shift paddle switches, and remove the switch wire.

    4. Remove the 4 screws, 2 brackets and 2 shift paddle switches.
