Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the P8 connector of the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH  .

   Standard resistance 

   FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P8-1 - Body ground	Always	1 M ohms or higher
   P8-2 - Body ground	Always	1 M ohms or higher

NG: REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the O38 connector of the seat belt control ECU.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU  .

   Standard resistance 

   FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P8-1 - Body ground	Always	1 M ohms or higher
   P8-2 - Body ground	Always	1 M ohms or higher
   P8-1 - P8-2	Always	1 M ohms or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
