Inspection Procedure

CHECK OPERATION OF BRAKE ACTUATOR (PUMP MOTOR)
1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S1.
2. Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal BM and negative (-) lead to the terminal GND2 of the skid control ECU. Check that the pump motor is operated.
OK: The running sound of the pump motor should be heard.

NG: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
INSPECT HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GND2 OF SKID CONTROL ECU AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S1.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 3 .

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )
