Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (+BS TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S1.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in Fig 2 .
Standard:
NG: Go to step 2
OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
- INSPECT FUSE (ABS NO.1)
- Remove the ABS No.1 fuse from the FL block.
- Check continuity of the ABS No.1 fuse.
Standard: Continuity
NG: CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESS AND CONNECTOR CONNECTED FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL CONTINUITY)
- Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S1.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 5 .
Standard:
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Check if the same DTCs are recorded. (See PRE-CHECK )
NO: RECOVERY TO NORMAL
HINT:
It is suspect that the DTCs output was caused by the poor connection of the connector terminal.
YES: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )
