Installation (LS 430)
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply high temperature grease to anchor block, adjuster, and contact points of rear axle carrier. See Figure.
- Adjust parking brake shoe clearance. See PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Tighten anchor block nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- When installing parking brake shoe lever, be careful to install correct lever for each side.
- Seat parking brake shoes and disc. See SEATING PARKING BRAKE SHOES AND DISC under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Adjust parking brake pedal. See PARKING BRAKE under ADJUSTMENTS.
