DTC P0181-22: Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance - Signal amplitude > maximum: Action

- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC
Logging strategy
- Idle vehicle for 30 minutes
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check datalogger signal (record temperatures at start)
- Fuel Temperature "A" - Raw (0x0429)
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check fuel temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Install new fuel temperature sensor, only when diagnosed as failed
