- Monitor Description
- Pressure sensor plausibility check against maximum modeled manifold pressure
- Component
- Intake manifold TMAP sensor (manifold pressure)
- Purpose of the DTC
- This DTC is used to determine if the manifold pressure sensor is operating within the range expected by the manifold pressure model
- Prioritized List of Possible Causes
- Intake manifold TMAP sensor (manifold pressure) circuit - Wiring integrity short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Connector is disconnected, connector pin is backed out, connector pin corrosion
- Intake manifold TMAP sensor (manifold pressure) failure
- Intake manifold air leak (loose or missing component)
- Breather system leak (loose or missing component)
- Blocked air filter
- Carbon build up around throttle
- Damaged/restricted exhaust system
