- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC
Logging Strategy
- Drive the vehicle with engine speed between 1000 and 4000 rpm under steady states conditions for 20-30 seconds
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check connections are secure and wiring integrity
- Check component for
- Seizure
- Mechanical failure
- Install new mass air flow sensor, only when diagnosed as failed
