The active grille air shutter is installed in front of the electric cooling fan. The active grille air shutter incorporates moveable vanes that control the air flow into the upstream main air duct.
The active grille air shutter has electric motors. The motor locates under the vane link. The vanes are connected through the vane link. When the active grille motor drives the active grille master vane, all vanes move in unison.
