Timing Cover (G2131832): Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install a new lower timing cover.
Renew Part: Lower timing cover Quantity: 1 .
Torque : 10 Nm
- CAUTION: Install a new gasket.
Install the left side upper timing cover.
Renew Part: Timing belt cover gasket Quantity: 1 .
Torque : 10 Nm
- CAUTION: Install a new gasket.
Install the right side upper timing cover.
Renew Part: Timing belt cover gasket Quantity: 1 .
Torque : 10 Nm
- Install crankshaft vibration damper.
Torque : 25 Nm
- Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
Torque : 47 Nm
- Install the vacuum reservoir tank bracket.
Torque : 8 Nm
- Connect the coolant hoses to engine outlet.
- Install the vacuum reservoir tank.
Torque : 8 Nm
- Install the coolant hose.
Torque : 4 Nm
- Install the left side vacuum tubes.
Torque : 4 Nm
- Install the exhaust gas recirculation valve outlet tube.
Torque : 4 Nm
- Install the right side vacuum tubes.
Torque : 4 Nm
- Install the center vacuum tubes.
- Install the accessory drive belt.

- Connect the startup battery ground cable.
