Crankshaft Pulley (G2033434): Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that the pulley washer is correctly seated before installing the pulley.

Install the friction washer.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that a new bolt is installed.
- Do not lubricate the components.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten at this stage.

- Install the crankshaft pulley.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Renew Part: Crankshaft pulley bolt Quantity: 1.
Check the timing marks.

Tighten the bolt.

Torque

Stage 1: Stage 1: 150 Nm

Stage 2: Stage 2: 300 Nm

Stage 3: Stage 3: 90°
Remove the special tool.

Install the special tool.

CAUTION: If a new crankshaft pulley has been installed, renew the crankshaft mass damper retaining bolts.

Install the timing belt.

Refer to: TIMING BELT

Renew Part: Crankshaft mass damper bolt(s) Quantity: 6.
Install the cooling fan assembly.
Refer to: ELECTRIC COOLING FAN AND SHROUD
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
