Crankshaft Front Seal (G2033433): Removal

  1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  2. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: LIFTING

  3. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

    Refer to: CRANKSHAFT PULLEY 

  4. Install the special tool to the crankshaft.

    Special Tool(s): 303-1120 

  5. Install the special tool to the crankshaft and rotate to engage the crankshaft front oil seal as shown.

  6. Rotate the special tool bolt.

  7. CAUTION: Discard the seal.

    Using the special tool remove the crankshaft front oil seal.
