Thermostat (G1885329): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the thermostat assembly and tighten the 3 bolts to the correct torque.

    Torque  : 7 Nm 

  2. Install the lower coolant hoses to the thermostat.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Install the upper coolant hoses to the thermostat.
  5. Install the charge air cooler.

    Refer to: CHARGE AIR COOLER

  6. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING 

  7. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
