Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G2135448): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

Remove the air intake duct.

Remove the front bumper upper finisher panel.

Remove the cooling fan and motor shroud upper finisher cover.

Remove the radiator support brackets.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the upper coolant hose from the right side of the radiator assembly.
Remove the charge air cooler.

- Release the coolant hoses from the retaining clips securing them too the cooling fan and motor shroud assembly.
- Disconnect the cooling fan and motor shroud electrical connector.
Remove the thermostat.

Remove the charge air cooler coolant pump.

Remove the cooling fan and motor shroud from the radiator assembly.
